Our icons
Icons convey key information in minimal space and are therefore essential elements of our design language. To ensure maximum flexibility, we use the extensive Font Awesome icon library in Light and Solid styles. Fontawesome in Light und Solid.
Core style principles
- Simple and minimalistic
- Line-based with light stroke weight
- Rounded corners / line ends
- No unnecessary detail
- Usually single color
Solid icons
- Can be used depending on context (e.g. for emphasis or small sizes)
- Must still align with the overall style (no heavy or overly detailed visuals)
Avoid inconsistent styles, unnecessary details, and unclear metaphors. Icons must be clear, minimal, and aligned with the system.
